Chicane gate to Hengrove Park.

The poorly surfaced path from Whitriggs Road leads to the museum centre car park in Woodhead Road. It appears to be signed as a public path, but do the gates get locked at night?

Poorly surfaced path from Woodhead Road to Whitriggs Road.

The council should consider widening the pavement over the motorway bridge to incorporate a cycle lane for families and school children cycling from Kenn village to Clevedon.

The most direct route to the toucan crossing across Nitshill Road is not a formal path.

The route across the vacant ground leads directly to the shops and the toucan crossing across Nitshill Road. This will be lost if the land is redeveloped without a formal path being formed.

The waste ground between Nitshill Road and the path to Woodhead Road needs tidying up and a formal path established.

Repairs needed to this footpath

Widen footpath on The Green just below the bus stop and enable this by removing parking bays on north side of The Green outside the museum

Widen pavement on west side and enable this through removal of parking bays on east side of Town Street

Widen pavement and enable this through removal of on-street parking bays on eastern side of Town Street

Zebra crossing needed here. Current crossing floods and has poor visibility due to trees.

Improvements need to be made to crossings on this roundabout.

There should be a zebra crossing here. This should have been done with the 20mph scheme.

[NOTE: Compare with a week later: #194141.] [Image taken 14.5.23] Malton Road, Huntington / York. Pedestrians and cyclists use other footway sign. Except it’s not a footway. It’s a formal cycling and walking route. It’s even segregated. … [more]

Too many coppers here stopping people doing donuts. haven't they got better things to do?

The path across the bridge is quite narrow and there are many bikes that don't slow down for pedestrians. Is there some sort of calming measure that could be put in place to slow the bikes and scooters down, maybe rumble strips at … [more]

The continuous drop kerb here just results in the pavements being completely covered in cars a lot of the time

[Image taken 16.4.23] Haxby Cycleway, York. My second encounter with someone riding a new or new-looking Jorvik e-tricycle in two days (see: #192971). I flagged down this rider to ask if I could take a photo to show the width of this route … [more]

The one and only pavement on this part of Mill Lane slopes at such an angle that wheelchair users, baby buggies, pedestrians who have difficulties with walking, all have to walk in the road, amid parked cars and fast traffic.

Access to bridge no.5, Șimleu Silvaniei, with a ramp from the Lidl shop

This junction is much too wide and sweeping to cross safely, and also includes no provision for crossing (no dropped kerbs or island).

Surface joining the two paths needs resurfacing, is just pure mud on the path surface now, not disability friendly

Make a shared cycle path from station junction to keep cyclists off of the busy narrow single lane then further up the path have a safe exit from the path onto the road where there are two lanes maybe put in a cycle lane up to the traffic … [more]

All of the junctions along A27 are bad, but this one is really bad. You have to check 3 different directions and drivers do not care about people trying to cross the road. Also no safe cycle route on a dual carriageway

Bollards required to stop cars driving on the pavement when the lane is flooded.

Parking close to junctions here makes it dangerous for cycle users on the road as cars need to pull out into the road for visibility, where they can hit cyclists. Increase the use of double yellow lines

Walking route needed through the station car park as the path by the back of Kwik Fit is overgrown, not overlooked and dark.

The footpath all along here from the new houses is too narrow and overgrown to walk along as cars speed past.

Footpath needs improving as it makes it hard to safely cross to Macknade and out into the countryside.

Stop pavement parking. Parking should only be allowed on one side of Nutgrove Avenue.

Widen pavement and prevent car parking, road is very thin and narrow with parked cars, too many close passes of cars driving too fast.

Junction as a whole is difficult for pedestrians, with cars coming from 5 directions including from the petrol station which cross the footway

Waiting time too long at lights and traffic blocks crossing

Bell Lane drains not man enough causing flooding

Paving slabs broken

Need Zebra Crossing

No ability to cross Birds Royd Lane to access the station for peds on the eastern arm.

Footway is <0.5m here (see point tagged on Clifton Road/Clifton Common above)

Narrow pavements (c. 0.5m in places if that) and no crossing provision for pedestrians. Peds and drivers cannot see each other. Not a safe environment for cycling due to poor vis splays and lack of anticipation of cycle use from drivers. … [more]

Cars fail to obey Highway code change giving pedestrians right of way - provide continuous footway in this location, due to volume of school children using this route.

Pavement needed from top of Castle Hill to garden centre

The wonderful old street trees along Kennedy Road are unfortunately making it dangerous to use the pavement, especially with a pram or mobility aid. Adding build-outs to increase the width of the path would also help reduce traffic speeds. … [more]

This path is very steep on this side of the stream. There is enough space here to make this path much less steep by adding some zig zags.

Remove narrow cycle barriers and widen footpath. The current barriers are very narrow and difficult to navigate even without a push chair or mobility aid.

The pavement should be wider where the crossing is. The pedestrian button timer should also be shorter. Currently people walking to and from Wyle Cop/Dogpole get stuck behind people waiting for the lights to change.

Is the white lane supposed to mark a cycleway? Hard to believe.

This looks as if it was built for shared use, but as there's zero cycle infrastructure here, I doubt it.

Remove grassed area on pavement and replace with tarmac. Make path a shared path between Backwell and Fax Bourton. Enables people to walk/push pushchairs alongside each other and gets rid of a muddy mess. Also, removes cyclists from busy … [more]

The junction here forces pedestrians to take a circuitous route if they want to carry on on Drove Road

The pavement here is now used as a parking space for the car dealership. Pedestrians are forced into the roadway and there is a blind corner. There has been at least one serious accident here in the past few years (following which the car … [more]

Formalise the well used footpath link onto Somersall Lane

There is no pavement for pedestrians to use when walking along the B3133 from Kingston Bridge to Kenn village. The verge is very narrow and dangerouly rough to walk along. Create a pavement from Kingston Bridge along the B3133 to Kenn

Road too narrow for pathway but maybe traffic calming to allow us residents a chance to walk cycle in safety.

Road too narrow for pathway but maybe traffic calming to allow us residents a chance to walk cycle in safety.

Narrow pavements and road so needs a 20 mph speed limit.

Poor pavements and lots of pedestrians in the road so should be a 20 mph zone.

20 mph speed limit as lots of traffic and businesses are suffering.

Zebra crossing to help businesses access customers on either side of the Avenue.

Zebra crossing needed.

Narrowing the width of the road junction here would make it easier for people to cross.

Pavement is too narrow on both sides of the road

In response to the other tag here ( #189787 ): a gate has been there since approximately 1957 and has naturally been replaced by similar gates over the years. The gate is not locked and a public footpath waymarker disc has now been added to … [more]

Add pedestrian entrance to new Portway train station

Add a build out and informal crossing to access Yellow Brick Road

Add pavement to south side of road to connect Portway to Yellow Brick Road

Pavement should be 1m wide but decades of neglect from North Somerset Council contracts has left it barely half that due to the encroaching vegetation overgrowth.

And cycleway

Cycle way and footpath - plenty of room if hedge cut and grass verge repurposed

Pavement from Haberfield Bridge to a point opposite island, near Pill Road junction. Also install a cerntral island on A369 for pedestrians to cross, so meeting one of the priorities for a 'first and last mile’ access improvement to the … [more]

Car drivers block the pavement with their parked cars

Narrow junction and add drop kerbs

Drop kerb needed over Pembroke Road. There's no drop kerb on this key route to the school

Better pavement and crossing needed here. School children crossing to and from school

Virtual footway

Short footway

Pavement is too narrow and kerb too low. Widen pavement and raise kerbs for safe access to bus stops, pub, safe route to school.

Add new section of pavement on south side of A370 by removing central hatched area in carriageway. Add new crossing point with central island at western extremity of new footpath for safe route to school and Charlton Childrens Nursery

Crossing point with central island to serve bus stops in each direction, access to pub and lay-by, food van. Safe access to school for local residents.

Tarmac path half covered with grass and weeds. Needs clearing at quarterly intervals.
