Lots of potholes have been marked up for repair, but only this one has been filled in so far.

[Image taken 21.6.22] Bootham, York. Tarmac damage opposite Sainsbury's. I reported it - without images - but it got returned with: Mended. (That refers to other damage reported that was mended.) I will keep an eye on this as Bootham is a … [more]

I reported this on the county highways web form in February - 'It's a hole that you occasionally fix but it keeps coming back, perhaps because vehicles are turning. Please do it properly!' and received a reply in June - 'We are pleased to … [more]

Repaired before I had a chance to report it - let's see how well it last.

There have been some repairs to the disaster that is Station Road in Cambridge - it remains to be seen how well they last.

Partial repair. Let's see how long it lasts this time.

Someone else has already reported this one: https://highwaysreporting.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/?id=00355156

The pothole was repaired quite quickly but they didn’t clear the debris. Full marks cannot be awarded.

This is the worst stretch of Long Drove - the quietest route from Cambridge to Ely, if you have a bike with suspension.

The old road over the hills from Virpazar to the coast (superceded by a tunnel) is crumbling and becoming overgrown in places - but it makes a peaceful cycle route.

Blocked Drain deterring use of cycle lane. Constant issue - needs clearing every 2 months or so. Drain cover in line with direction of travel - wheel trap risk.

Potholes (trenches) on umade road from Sewage works where Stockley Trail crosses

Potholes on unmade road at crossing of Stockley trail to Sewage Work #105801

Not suitable for anything other than MTB!

A pothole in Radnor Street, with exposed cobbles. UPDATE 2020: Road now resurfaced.

Prone to flooding.

Station Road, Cambridge, is collapsing - and will presumably continue to do so until (if ever) the CB2 redevelopment is done.

Hills Road, Cambridge, collapsing at the Station Road junction

This part of Cambridge will presumably have collapsing roads until the station-area redevelopment is complete, and probably longer.

Roads in Montréal can be just as awful as in Cambridge and elsewhere (location inexact).

Potholes filled with bricks

Pothole to be reported.

See clip at http://youtu.be/ZnE2T_lGR4U This is a Roman road and designated as worth protecting due to a high level of rare plants and species. To that end, it's got locked gates at all public entrances to stop motor vehicles getting in. … [more]

Very rough start to shared-use track (very popular on a summer Sunday morning)

Amateur-looking pothole repair

The county council has agreed to resurface Eltisley Avenue in September or October - though there are plenty of streets in Cambridge in worse condition.

The potholes on Lammas Land have *finally* been fixed - but new ones are developing already.

What was the roughest patch of road in Cambridge (#14068 ) has finally been fixed - but not alas the smaller patch by the ironwork in the mid-distance.

It's bizarre that the virtually traffic-free Summerfield's potholes have been repaired while major roads such as Lensfield Road are falling apart. Also that some holes have been left unfixed.

Bodged repairs on Lensfield Road - the rest of the road is still falling apart.

One of the worst potholes remaining from last winter has been marked up for repair at last. [finally fixed in September or October 2010]

Pothole opening into a void - and Highways truck arriving at midday on Sunday for emergency repairs

Rather bodged repairs (see #22152) [done properly by August 2011]

The potholes on Lammas Land (see #21738, #22153, #22154) have been repaired, but not very well.

More potholes. Builders' vans blocking Eden Street. Cycle route signs.

Example of the poor state of road building and maintenance. This manhole in the bus and bike lane on Hills Road is very dangerous, as cyclists can easily get trapped in the sunken part and slip, see also #19542.

Progress of a sort - the ski jump has been fixed (see #18510 and #18511) but now there's a bit of a basin instead.

Pothole outside the Chemistry labs on Lensfield Road filled at last

Potholes on Pemberton Terrace (very obvious after rain) [repaired by late May 2009]

Bad pothole filled within a week of posting on the CTC's www.fillthathole.org.uk - who knows how much difference that made?

Poor quality at the edge of a rural road. This pot-hole caused a young cyclist to break her wrist. The car in the background is from a friendly motorist who stopped, and parked to protect the casualty.

Royal Cambridge Hotel junction resurfaced. It is now much easier to go over, particularly as the mini-roundabout is flatter.
