[Image taken 21.6.22] Bootham, York. Tarmac damage opposite Sainsbury's. I reported it - without images - but it got returned with: Mended. (That refers to other damage reported that was mended.) I will keep an eye on this as Bootham is a … [more]
I reported this on the county highways web form in February - 'It's a hole that you occasionally fix but it keeps coming back, perhaps because vehicles are turning. Please do it properly!' and received a reply in June - 'We are pleased to … [more]
There have been some repairs to the disaster that is Station Road in Cambridge - it remains to be seen how well they last.

Someone else has already reported this one: https://highwaysreporting.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/?id=00355156
The pothole was repaired quite quickly but they didn’t clear the debris. Full marks cannot be awarded.
This is the worst stretch of Long Drove - the quietest route from Cambridge to Ely, if you have a bike with suspension.

The old road over the hills from Virpazar to the coast (superceded by a tunnel) is crumbling and becoming overgrown in places - but it makes a peaceful cycle route.
Blocked Drain deterring use of cycle lane. Constant issue - needs clearing every 2 months or so. Drain cover in line with direction of travel - wheel trap risk.
Station Road, Cambridge, is collapsing - and will presumably continue to do so until (if ever) the CB2 redevelopment is done.
This part of Cambridge will presumably have collapsing roads until the station-area redevelopment is complete, and probably longer.

What was the roughest patch of road in Cambridge (#14068 ) has finally been fixed - but not alas the smaller patch by the ironwork in the mid-distance.

One of the worst potholes remaining from last winter has been marked up for repair at last. [finally fixed in September or October 2010]
Example of the poor state of road building and maintenance. This manhole in the bus and bike lane on Hills Road is very dangerous, as cyclists can easily get trapped in the sunken part and slip, see also #19542.
Progress of a sort - the ski jump has been fixed (see #18510 and #18511) but now there's a bit of a basin instead.
Bad pothole filled within a week of posting on the CTC's www.fillthathole.org.uk - who knows how much difference that made?
Poor quality at the edge of a rural road. This pot-hole caused a young cyclist to break her wrist. The car in the background is from a friendly motorist who stopped, and parked to protect the casualty.
