Cyclists exempt from the covid-19 road closure on Winwick Street. Unfortunately the sign at the other end doesnt mention cyclists #137723
The road is closed to motor traffic for construction of new town Northstowe but an attendant controls the construction vehicles to allow cyclists (and horses and pedestrians) to pass through the works.
The town of Menton is now closing the seafront promenade to motor traffic on weeekend evenings (including Friday) - far busier and more popular than this photo indicates. Now to make it permanent!

This "Cycle Land Closed; cyclists merging from the Left" temporary road sign is much better than the often used "Cyclists Dismount", although the text could do with being bigger.
