The disused railway is an alternative route between Sovata and Praid for hikers at least - cyclists have to put up with a few kilometres on a busy main road.

Very good cycleway using the bed and dyke of a former railway line. Here at the former railway station at Tettens.

The track from the playing fields car park (see #170045) arrives at Guidmans Road just short of the path northwards on the other side of the road. However, the road is one-way.

From the playing fields car park, this track links to Guidmans Road and almost connects to the path network beyond.

I don't see any reason why Clay Road shouldn't be upgraded to make an all-weather path serving the Shirrel area of Bellshill.

Clay Road forks to the right, forming a sort of active travel spine through the estate.

A forest track near Neilston Pad.

Cycle tracks through this small park are a hub on the local cycling network. Leaves are swept up but the surfaces have been left to get rather uneven.

Nice cycle track bridge over a drain connecting Chase Avenue with an underused cycle track to the difficult level crossing and a stone road southwards.

North end of bridge over the railway to the Hardwick Industrial Estate. Unnecessarily tight slalom barriers at the foot both otherwise popular and well-used.

Needlessly narrow access to the south end of Gloucester Road. Around the corner are four tightly-spaced bollards with a Cyclists Dismount sign. The parallel Field Road path has no such width restriction.

Cycle track passes over this bridge over the River Gaywood connecting the Reffley and Springwood areas.

Bus station cycle park about half full. This is about a quarter of it. South end of #84611 visible on the top left.
