The section of canal towpath between the Murano Street bridge and Shakespeare Street (see #192196) remains closed for resurfacing.
The Forth & Clyde Canal towpath approaching Firhill Road bridge. This section has yet to be resurfaced. The section under the bridge is cobbled.

The ramp up to the Forth & Clyde Canal towpath from Lochburn Road has been made wider and resurfaced.
No surface improvement to the canal towpath at Firhill Road. The improvement stops at the Ruchill Street bridge.
The towpath of the Forth & Clyde Canal at Stockingfield Junction has reopened, with just the bridge remaining closed.

The cobbles under the Ruchill Street bridge have been replaced by asphalt, removing one hazard at this very narrow section of path built in modern times. See #92011 for previous surface.
The path from the Forth & Clyde Canal footbridge at Old Farm Road over to Netherton Road is in a very poor condition (still). What doesn't show up in the photograph is the step between the asphalt surface and the washed-out unsealed path.
The route sign at the Bowline junction, east of Bowling. NCN7 is now signed via the new Bowline route, while NCN754 continues along the canal towpath. In the Clydebank direction, NCN7 is incorrectly shown in brackets.
