Milton Keynes route signs refering to cycle routes aligned with the H and V terminology of the main road network. H and V is perhaps horizontal and vertical. These are pretty hard to relate to unless you know the grid map.

Helen Street is not a cycle-friendly road by any means, but its junction with Edmiston Drive is particularly bad. This guy was cycling on the carriageway further back, but switched to the footway on the approach to the roundabout.

The pedestrian crossing on the Newlands to Silverburn cycle route at Thornliebank Road is out of use. This is quite a busy road, and being next to a roundabout it is not terribly easy to cross the road unaided at this location.

As with #169532, the first opportunity to leave the presumably shared footway (there are no signs to confirm this) is beyond the roundabout where a dropped kerb crossing has been provided.

The first opportunity to leave the presumably shared footway from the toucan crossings at the motorway junction is up beyond the roundabout at the housing on the left (see #169533).

The 'End of Route' sign is still up, even though the Wallacewell Road cycle lanes were extended to the end of the road some time ago. The cycle lanes recommence right after the roundabout.
