The cycleway alongside Sighthill Avenue is open as far as Fountainwell Gardens. Already indiscriminate parking is occurring on the roads next to the car park, blocking the crossing points.

The cycle parking isn't disused as I had imagined on my previous visit (see #178054). However, its poor design is clear from the way it is being used.

Priority has returned to the Bunhouse Road cycleway at the car park entrance, but has been indicated by a random use of miniature Give Way markings as the only indication of this.

The carriageway at the end of Park Drive has been claimed for a private car park, and obstructed by a lifting barrier. The sign proclaims it to be private land. This hinders cycle access to Kelvingrove Park.

The sign seen in #95295 to warn (or inform since it wasn't a warning sign) of the cycle track crossing has gone missing. Also, the tactile paving for the pedestrian crossing has several tyre tracks across it.

A fence has been built all around the Kelvingrove Art Gallery for the COP26 event. It blocks the footway (the one that might be shared-use due to the one-way carriageway) and the gate only opens across the carriageway,

The riverside path is separated from the car park by rising bollards, although they hadn't been deployed at the time of my visit.

Roadworks closing the shared footway alongside Bunhouse Road. Pedestrians are diverted through the car park, no mention of cycling. I went onto the road, but this is not possible in the opposite direction since it is one-way.

The path from the allotments (see #170043) reaches the playing fields car park via this gate. The kerb could be lowered to make it more accessible.

The former railway line through the northeastern part of East Kilbride has been converted into a cycle path, but this section at Main Street has been filled in and made into a car park.

The car park entrance for the new Lidl supermarket is across the new Churchill Avenue shared cycle path. An update on #107576.
