Poorly maintained dedicated pedestrian and cycle route combined with very rough surface, numerous exits and entrances and one dismount instruction. The route is used by pedestrians and cyclists going to and from UEA university and potentially makes for much more hazardous cycling than using the adjacent road. Unfortunately many motorists are intolerant of cyclists using this stretch of road and abuse is regularly experienced.
