Cyclelanes on Coldhams Lane are simply not safe due to driver behaviour. Here's the experience and how BikeAbility cycle training would approach it.

Using the "sharing" position (secondary) is going to result in close, fast passes, like these three. It's pretty unpleasant. Clearly can NOT share the lane here. Thus, must use the control position (primary) here. That's riding in the middle of the lane to prevent such close passes.

Now, if you worry about angry drivers, just think which is more preferable, an angry driver (if incorrect) to one that hasn't seen you or passes so close that they knock you off?
