I've finally found a reason for the side cyclepaths (see www.youtube.com/watch)! Well, not really. With the amount of people wondering around I simply didn't feel safe cycling along the path and walked. And that's fine. It was an accident scene.
But this does show what happens to the bollard. I didn't take a look at the car, and expect similar damage. This was being cleared quickly and I guess buses would be cleared to use it a little while afterwards.
In the meantime, what do buses do? They can't go round as there's people waiting at bus stops ahead? Or will they be moved back onto the Station Road stands temporarily?
