[Image taken 19.5.23] Providence House, University of York, Innovation Close, York Science Park, Heslington, York. [NOTE: No street view at this exact location.] I also struggled to get my bike in here. The racks are too close together. The person to the right has reversed his/her cycle in. This means the front wheel was at the point you are manoeuvring the cycle then trying to lock it and lift bags on and off. I had to take my panniers off before I could get the bike in. Ditto when extracting the cycle from the racks. This means you either have to balance the cycle against yourself or lean it against a structure. It adds time to the process, means you get even wetter if it's raining and is much less convenient. Because the wheel of the neighbouring cycle was free to 'flop' not held in place by the frame, there was very little room for me to move around getting my locks then trying to secure the front wheel and the frame. The space was overly cluttered and the experience painful. Other image here today and links: #194086.
