[Image taken 8.4.23] York Minster Refectory, Deangate, York. [NOTE: No street view at this location] The end spaces on a run of racks can be invaluable: #165049. This is a wasted opportunity. It is too close to the wall on the left. You’d struggle to feed a cycle in. There’s no room to stand next to it to load/unload it/to attach/detach lights/to lock/unlock it. This rack should come out and be redeployed elsewhere. The space freed up could be used by: ‘York’ cycles – bespoke adapted machines for mobility (see: #192692, #186525) or utility use (see: #186524, #183698) or for families: #186259, #174709 including groups who share locks: #184981. Other image here today and links: #192818.
