[Image taken 3.3.23] West Esplanade at Scarborough Bridge, York. [Note: No street view at this location.] The top bar of the ‘sheep pen’-style user controlling measure has been removed. Again. Previous instance: #186536. I don’t know if this is an official change – there are 800+ physical barriers around the city. The process of planning their removal and the order in which to do it is currently being discussed, including with people affected by them. There are two padlocks visible. I don’t know if this supports the activism theory or that of a trial by CYC. A cyclist riding through the gap: #191695. Other image today: #191693.
