[Image taken 10.12.22] Co-op, 143-145 Tang Hall Lane, York. The racks need to be sufficiently far back from a vertical structure 'ahead'/ in front of the supports that you can roll your cycle in far enough for the uprights to support it. Otherwise the cycle is unstable, falls/is at an angle, and leaves no space for another cycle alongside. Context and links: #188684.
