[UPDATE: 3.3.23 Bar again removed: #191694] [Image from 28.12.22 shows the damaged surface has not been repaired: #188965.] [UPDATE 10.10.22 The bar has been reinstated - and has a padlock.] [Image taken 5.10.22] West Esplanade, York. [NOTE: No street view at this location]. Still no repairs to the tarmac. Context: #185671. Someone has removed the crossbar on the second part of the barrier on this side of the tunnel under Scarborough Bridge (see: #148951). I don't use the route through it enough to discuss the effect this has on any of the many non-motorised users of this popular riverside path but the lone remaining upright looks like a hazard.
