[UPDATE: #187239] [Image taken 19.8.22] Terry Avenue (entrance to Rowntree Park car park is first left), York. New bollards. The intention is, I assume, to prevent motorists overshooting the car park and trying to continue ahead (ie towards the camera position) in the direction of the Millennium Bridge. But the gaps do not meet the minimum distance of 150cm for shared use routes set in LTN1/20 (www.gov.uk/government/publications/cycle-infrastructure-design-ltn-120). Other images showing two typical users here: #185666, #185667. Other new bollards here today: #185663 and links.
