[Image taken 19.8.22] Terry Avenue (ahead), near junction of Butcher Terrace (behind camera left), Millennium Bridge (behind camera, right), York. [NOTE: No street view at this location.] I was perplexed that yet more bollards (obstructions) have been introduced on a motor traffic-free route. I am not aware of drivers entering Terry Ave, here. (I’m not even sure how they could.) It won’t stop motorcyclists, if that is a problem. They are hazards, obstructions, further clutter made of solid, manufactured materials. They make the route less attractive, less flexible, less safe. It reduces the ease of cycling, walking and wheelchairing. And therefore the comfort, convenience and attractiveness of active travel. They need to come out. Other images of new bollards here today: #185664, #185665, and another set: #185666, #185667. Other image today and links: #185660.
