[Image taken 15.7.22] ExploreYork, (library), York. [Note: No street view at this location.] The uppermost (retrofitted) metal strip above the top bar on the cycle took a child seat. The owner said they have two children and the older one is heavier than the tolerance of this bar. So they got a trailer/buggy/running buggy. The owner said he measured and remeasured the width of their gate before buying it to be sure it would fit through. He said it folds to be sufficiently narrow to just fit in the boot of their car. Trailers are a practical option if you don't have storage for a cargo cycle. They are considerably cheaper too. The owner said his partner was not comfortable with the two-wheeled cargo cycle they tried. It didn't feel sufficiently stable. This trailer has two wheels and can bu used as a buggy and when running too. Other image this trailer and cycle and links: #184774.
