[Image taken 3.6.22] Terminus of the rail line at Fiumicino airport, Rome. The 0921 departure from Roma Trastevere to Fiumicino Aeroporto. Not only does this train carry cycles but you can recharge them if they are e-bikes too. The person who took the image said: "You are expected to push your front wheel into one of the three slots on the left (which looked a bit close together but fairly wide). The thing that caught my attention was the three e-bike charging sockets above those slots (see also the logo on the wall)." On-train e-charging came up when I was asking LNER (or its forerunner) about how cycles would be transported on the Azumas being designed (and we know how that subject played out on their trains and others: #183348, #173854). The answer was no. But European counterparts are able to carry cycles horizontally - minimal lifting - and provide charging options.
