[Correction/Update: The ward councillor clarified: "The Press report is incorrect. This is because the signs were put in the wrong position. Burton Stone Lane will be closed from Crichton Ave to Burton Green so that the concrete road repairs can be done". That's the far (northern) end of Burton Stone Lane. No date for the traffic-calming works here yet.] [Image taken 14.6.22] Grosvenor Road junction with Burton Stone Lane, York. I think these are new signs. They are different to the ones on street view - the one on the right is on a new pole, in a new position. I think they are connected with the image in this story:

I'm concerned the works (see: yorkmix.com/new-measures-to-slow-traffic-on-a-street-in-york-approved/) the sign refers to - closed for two weeks from Monday, 20 June 2022 - will lead to rat running during and after:
