[Image taken 12.6.22] Hurricane Way, Rawcliffe/Clifton Moor, York. Context/links: #183545. Note the York barrier - the level level chicane on the left, and the staggered railings on the right. These obstruct the passage of most people with a cycle or mobility aid. CYC has committed to removing them. But, as with the 'no idling' sign, I'm baffled why they were considered necessary at all. (Further note: the visible extension on the house in the image was completed in May or June 2022. This is the nearest residential property to this sign.)
