[Image taken 8.5.22] Looking towards York on NCN65. Position very approximate. [Note: No street view at this location.] A runner shows how narrow the original route is... just 1.65cm. Despite this being very popular, a national route, and open to people on cycles of all widths, mobility scooter and wheelchair users, people with assistance dogs, dog walkers, pedestrians with buggies and holding the hands of children... There's no room to pass. Usually the dog walkers and pedestrians step into the grass (which can be muddy and wet) when someone on a cycle approaches.
