[UPDATE: Image from 26.4.22 #182103] [UPDATE: 20.4.22 An email from CYC says: "Thank you for your email. We weren’t aware of the locating of this unit on the highway, however, we have now begun enquiries into who has responsibility for it and asked for it to be removed until such a time that a licence has been issued for it. Thank you for bringing it to our attention."] [Image taken 17.4.22] Wilberforce Avenue, junction with Horner Street, York. The permeable filtering is obstructed. Frustrating. If CYC (I assume) gave permission for Northern Gas Networks to site its canteen here it suggests the Council does not understand the concept. Or not support it. Or both. It sets an abysmal example. Too often drivers obstruct locations like these believing they are a dead end (see: #173127). In fact they are critical through routes for people on cycles, foot, scooters, wheelchairs and intended to support people's active travel choices.
