[Image taken 25.1.22] Library Square, York. [Note: No street view at this location.] This cycle also caught my attention today: two child seats, rear panniers, and a massive basket but no e-assistance. I asked the owner to hazard how much the rig might weigh with three people on it… He started: 15 stone for himself, 4 stone for the older child, two stone for the second one… And that’s excluding the frame and any luggage. It’s a real workhorse. It has a two-prong stand and is not supported by the Sheffield rack. The latter provides the necessary locking point though. Another family who could enjoy days out with a train if you could simply wheel your cycle into the carrying area. Other child-carrying cycle here today: #178199 and links.
