[Image taken 9.11.21]. Spen Lane, junction with St Andrewgate, York. This sign clearly shows the direction for people on the diversion from #175681 and trying to reach: #175680. But there’s a junction (with St Saviourgate) and a dogleg before you reach here and there is no sign at that junction or a repeater sign after it. A cycle courier gave this diversion 2 marks out of 10. Plus, the obstruction this is the diversion for is scheduled to last 3 weeks, but the diversion for people on cycles was only put in after complaints that none had been provided. But there’s no sign on the St Andrewgate end #175680 that there is a diversion despite Aldwark being a best practice example of filtered permeability for people moving actively around this city.
