[Image taken 24.10.21] Alder Way, New Earswick, York. If you are coming from York through the attractive, motor traffic-free Bootham Stray in a wheelchair, on a mobility scooter or on a cycle that has more than two wheels you arrive at this radar-key gate. It can swing both ways so if you are exiting it here it opens onto the pavement. You roll your oversized cycle out… but the motor vehicle parking bay is occupied so you struggle for space. There's nothing to warn drivers. And you need to be mobile or accompanied: #173447. Context see: #172505. Other images this parking bay today: #175235, #175236. Other images today: #175230 and links.
