[Image taken 20.10.21] Waitrose, Foss Islands Way, York. This is the main entrance. But the clutter on the pavement and... more worryingly the insubstantial metal support of the barrier. A blind or partially sighted person might not see it. Their stick would not detect it. Plus there is just a 90cm gap to squeeze through - with shopping bags, a carer, a dependant, a companion... And where do pedestrians and wheelchair users go from here to get to the shop entrance? Other images today: #175105 and links.
