[UPDATE: Sign still here 23.10.21 see: #175242.] [UPDATE: Sign still here 16.10.21 see: #175051] [UPDATE: Sign still here 17.45 11.10.21] [Image taken 7.10.21] Grosvenor Terrace, York. What diversion? Sign further narrows the inadequate pedestrian route. It's essentially a flytipped item if it's not doing its job. And one that is a hazard - including if it fell. CYC was clear the contractor of the diversion for floodworks on the other side of the Ouse (the Scarborough Bridge to Ouse Bridge Flood Scheme, May 2021 [extended to] January 2022 see: #169140) must check the signage to see if it is in situ, but the Council doesn't practise what it preaches. There are no contact details or any clue who owns it, who rents it, who set it out somewhere on a street or for what reason. (For more examples of this problem search on 'fallensign'.) Other fallen signs images today from the same diversion: #174666, #174667, #174668, #174669. Other image and a count result today: #174657 and links
