[Image taken 26.9.21] Fetter Lane junction with Skeldergate, York. Overwhelming clutter of signage where you need to make a decision which direction is the one you need. And as the days get shorter and the clocks change (it can be dark from 14.30 on wet days this far north in winter), people need clarity of direction to be able to position themselves confidently and to be able to communicate this accurately to other road users, to be safe.
