[Image taken 21.6.21] Monkgate, York. Cyclists are asked to dismount - not only to reach the cycle parking in front of the building visible in the image, but also to reach the GP practice and other health facilities further into and at the far end of the site. There is no space and no provision for people who use a cycle as a mobility aid to enter/exit the site. There is no room for anyone (pushing a cycle, a 'blue badge cyclist', someone in a wheelchair or mobility scooter, parents or carers accompanying others in 'protective' formation (side by side/hand holding) other than two pedestrians to pass on the paved areas in the image.
