[Image taken 12.5.21] Marygate car park, York. Width of shared use, two-way path at this junction with a blind corner and a steep slope to/from Scarborough Bridge, used by most people of all non-motorised travel modes, 320cm. The hoardings make it oppressive feeling. The lighting is on the other side of the Environment Agency's compound and puts around half of tarmac on hoardings side in shadow after dark. The low wooden fencing becomes difficult to see for people riding down the slope.
