The pop-up bus lane on Braidcraft Road ends here, on the approach to the Peat Road roundabout. The roundabout remains a major obstacle to cycling.

For some journeys, the roads around the sides of the roundabout may provide an alternative, such as going to Brockburn Road via Waterfoot Terrace, but then again, that journey could also be undertaken without coming along this section of Braidcraft Road in the first place. Other journeys do not have such an easy alternative.
