[Image taken 18.4.21] Clifton Moor Gate, York. There's a huge disconnect between the new provision across Clifton Moor Gate and the routes to and from it. For example, Hurricane Way, is permeable only to people on foot and on cycles at the Village Street end. Compare the widths of the new crossing with the restrictions on who can access Hurricane Way through the barriers: #167734. Crossing width on the Tesco petrol station side of the central reservation. 60cm between the edge of the tarmac (left) and the drop kerb. 404cm across the drop kerb. 107cm between the edge of the drop kerb and the upstand at the right edge of the crossing. #167360, #167362, #167363. Images of the remainder of the crossing taken on 18.4.21 see: #167349 and links
