[Image taken 18.4.21] Hurricane Way, York. There’s a signed cycle route between the junction with Clifton Moor Gate to Village Street, Rawcliffe, passing retail outlets. It’s difficult to reach the Tesco roundabout on the other side of Clifton Moor Gate if you don’t use it. But there is an entrance to a car park (Curry’s) and a second gap (for a service road?) close to the ‘dead end’ for all but people on cycles and foot. To be a realistic route I believe the pedestrian/cycle path needs to be a Copenhagen/continuous crossing over the entrances/exits. Bradford has done it on Valley Road, and done it well: goo.gl/maps/zuLrvGYm7aXFp9W18 Images taken today about this see also: #167342, #167343, #167344, #167345. For the Village Street end see: #167346, #167347, #167348. For current images showing the Clifton Moor Gate end see: #167349 and links in it.
