[Image taken 18.00 16.4.21] Riverside on Terry Avenue, York. Sunny though fresh. First Friday after the first relaxing of the covid rules - people can eat food at premises if they do so outside. Beer gardens (and popup on-pavement tables) busy. But still many people out on Terry Ave (and New Walk on the opposite bank). We had to pass two sets of these signs. Pair 1: this sign and #167254. Pair 2: #167255, #167256. Was the team that used these signs during the day not briefed to remove them after close of play? Will work take place over the weekend? Will the signs remain in situ unnecessarily? (See: #167284, #167285) To get this far we'd cycled past these signs in Marygate car park: #167242 that have been there this week. Terry Ave closing see also (overview): #164095; (user count): #166370; (typical users): #165153; (York Cycle Campaign press release about their concerns): #164634.
