[Image taken 19.3.21] By blocking the ASL on Rougier Street, York, this motorcyclist is also preventing cyclists using the two-way cycle cut-through left in the image. The facility is a critical link between Tanner's Moat and Rougier Street. If the ASL opposite is blocked, as here, it means a cyclist cannot access the ASL from Tanner's Moat. This further means that cyclist blocks: a) the pavement for pedestrians in both directions on that side of Rougier Street, b) cyclists making the right turn from Rougier Street heading for Tanner's Moat, c) cyclists making the right turn from Rougier Street to Tanner's Moat to 'become pedestrians' to reach Lendal bridge and continue their journey, d) cyclists on Lendal gyratory/Station Ave coming through the city walls and making a left turn into Tanner's Moat.
