Sale Greater Manchester NEW BIN ON DESIRE LINE OF PATH A new bin has been placed wide face on the path's dropped kerb to create maximum obstruction to walkers and cyclists. Worse the person on a bicycle on avoiding the pedestrian and the obstructions may be compromised by a motor vehicle approaching from the road or the car park (the person on the bike distracted by walker and all the obstructions ). Also the job of the grass cutter would probably be easier with the position of this bin tuned through 90 degrees (a secondary consideration though)
JAT Because this entrance is no longer used by motor vehicles it is considered fair game to place bollards and other street furniture without any thought to the walkers, cyclists and disabled.
